This has to be one of the most difficult things to write as I really do not fall into the "typical" photographer category. I love what I do and it's one of those things that would do (even if I don't get paid for it). It's a passion and it's something that I'm constantly working on. I live my life pretty transparently. In front of the world. What you see is what you get.
You can see my love for life, my family, and my faith. A few days ago I was asked, what's been my favorite shoot, that's hard to say as everything that I do has been different. I started off as a news photographer back in 1997 and eventually found my way from news to commercial to what I'm doing today. Over the last few years I have shot mostly commercial but I do enjoy working with people one on one.
If i had to say what my "style" is that's simple. Story telling. I love meeting people and finding out what interests them and then build the end picture from there. There's nothing like the feeling of walking away from a shoot knowing that you "nailed it".

We're usually able to schedule you in and are willing to accommodate you and your party pretty easily.
Our headshot and commercial work is almost always scheduled Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm but we're pretty flexible.
It's totally up to you!
We have a full service studio here in Mission Texas ready to go rain or shine (or when the temperature hits 100+ during our summer months).
Both have their advantages but during the cooler months we love to be out at various location in the Rio Grande Valley.

This goes for both the guys and the girls, but only certain stuff are only required for girls.
Not knowing what to wear could be stressful, but just remember to be casual and it is to represent you.

It is always good to bring more than one outfit to always get advice from the photographer to see which one would be good for the shoot setting.
For example- you could bring an everyday outfit, something to represent you, and maybe even your cap and gown!
Wear something that is fitting and relaxed!

For a few years I was part of a marketing team that helped the local CHL hockey affiliate here in South Texas and I'd help out with photos every now and then.
I will say this, it really taught me how to shoot manual and the value of understanding any shoot.
I know a lot of hockey traditionalists look down on this but you have to admit the fights were always a lot of fun to watch.
I took advantage of the weather and headed out to Harlingen to get some real estate photo so we could get some commercial property listed quickly.
