I am a portrait photographer resident in the beautiful California wine country. My husband and I live in rural Sebastopol, about 20 minutes outside of Santa Rosa, CA. (this is our apple orchard) We share our little slice of heaven with our 3 children, golden retriever Rufus, ragdoll cat Felix, and a flock of hens named after Disney princesses. We also have a naughty Welsh pony name Jester and a saintly ex racehorse called Mica.
All three Mitchell girls are horse girls through and through. I grew up the daughter of a professional photographer and I can't remember a time when I wasn't documenting my life in photos. I have traveled extensively and have found myself drawn to different genres within photography through the years. I started as a travel and nature photographer, then found a love for food styling and photography.
Once I had a family of my own, I honed my portrait photography craft. These days my heart is in photographing children, capturing the magic of childhood, and letting imagination and magic reign supreme.
