L J BONCORE | Authentic Portraiture for the Class of 2027 & Beyond
Located in New Cumberland, PA, L J BONCORE offers a story-driven alternative to the "standard" senior portrait. My work is rooted in the belief that portraits should be an arrival, not a chore. With a technical background starting in 35mm black-and-white film and nearly two decades in education, I bring an "artisan edge" to every session.
The Experience: Instinct Over Templates
I specialize in the "Anti-Performance" portrait. Most sessions feel stiff because of forced poses; instead, I use a "Settle-In" process with low-stakes warm-up shots. This allows the camera jitters to fade, ensuring the final gallery reflects your actual personality. As an educator with all current clearances, I provide an upbeat, safe, and reassuring environment where students feel free to be themselves.
Our Services Include:
Senior Portraits: From 20-minute studio yearbook shots to 90-minute Signature Experiences.
On-Location Expertise: Serving urban Harrisburg, the PA Wilds, Hershey, York, and Carlisle.
Custom Artistry: Exclusive hand-painted canvas studio backdrops for a fine-art look.
Full-Service Delivery: Rapid "sneak peeks" and professional management of school yearbook submissions.
Whether youre a high school senior, a creative professional, or a cosplayer looking for an "Inner You" session, L J BONCORE captures the version of you that is confident, capable, and ready for the next chapter.

Report
My experience was wonderful. We worked together to make sure everyone felt comfortable with everything that was happening during the photo shoot. We even used props that l had brought to represent what l have done in high school and the scenery around us to make the photos look and feel more natural. We worked together and talked about our ideas for poses and locations to get the best photos to represent my journey.
