I strive to provide you a portrait photography experience that is truly unique and original. I'm always in search of amazing locations that are unique and different from the standard images you see. Traveling is not a problem and is often encouraged. If an off-location is not desired, I have a beautiful studio located on historic Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott, Az.
Being a Prescott photographer is one of the best things ever. We seriously have the best of all types of backdrops. Where else can you capture the cool urban but historic look of our amazing downtown, but also all of the stunning nature scenes we have here as well. It's almost cheating. I have been described as a natural and authentic photographer who has a truly unique ability to capture the real person.
I love the look of the actual sky in an image. I love the way shadows fall and how light catches an eye. I love to learn all about you and capture the "soul" of who you are in each and every shot. I strive to keep my sessions fun and adventurous for everyone involved.

At 40 years old I went to photography school and I quickly became obsessed.
I am so glad I was able to learn photography on film cameras.
There is just something about film that you can not replace with digital cameras.
Photography changed the way I see and do everything.
I see light and shadow in different ways and will never be able to read a magazine or watch a movie the same way ever again.
I had the most amazing opportunity to have a studio on Whiskey Row, which is a dream come true.
Ian Russell is a great friend and has given me the opportunity to not only rent an amazing space above his gallery, but give me the honor of photographing the most amazing art in Northern Arizona.
I am so glad I was able to learn photography on film cameras.
