I have been a photographer all of my life and I always knew I wanted to work with children.
I worked as a school counselor and school psychologist for a few years.
Then, after my husband, Phillip, and I started having children, I wanted to do something different.
I decided that teaming up my joy of working with children and my love of photography would be the best job I could ever have.
And it really is!
I work with children of all ages but specialize in newborn sessions and high school senior portrait sessions.

There is no better feeling than the movement of life inside of you and remembering the beauty in the body that created it.
My goal is to help you feel comfortable and beautiful during your session.
Interaction and genuine emotion are what I strive to showcase because those moments are simply the best.
Maternity sessions are usually captured between 27-32 weeks.
Within this timeframe, Mom is usually still feeling great and getting around great, swelling is minimal and baby bump has "popped".

Before you know it, you won't remember the tiny toes, the little peach fuzz, and baby hair.
My passion is to create stunning images of your newborn baby that you will cherish for years to come.
Newborn sessions are generally captured before the baby turns two weeks old.
During this timeframe, the baby is still sleeping for most of the time and they are easier to pose.
I can capture a newborn session up to a month old but would prefer the two-week timeframe.

That's why cake smash sessions are some of my favorite sessions.
All cake smash sessions are done in the studio.
At our consultation, we will go over the theme and colors of your custom-built cake smash set.
You give me your vision, and I will bring it to life.
Your child will have three sets that we will shoot their first birthday photos on.
We always shoot two "regular" sets and then the big cake smash set.
I do not provide the cake or helium balloons.
