When they place your baby against your chest for the very first time it will be unlike anything you've ever felt before. Whether your firstborn, or fifth, the unconditional love you will feel at that moment will be unexplainable.
The saying, "the days are long but the years are short" are so very true and realized once you become a mother. This is why my goal at your session is to capture those precious times in your life that truly will seem to go by in the blink of an eye. My hope is that when you look back at your images months or years down the road you will be able to recall just how it felt to hold your baby in your arms.

I am located about 20 minutes east of Tulsa in my hometown of Chouteau, OK.
I specialize in newborn portraiture and photograph little ones year-round in my home-based studio.
I also offer sessions throughout baby's first year as well as maternity, child, and family sessions.

All sessions with April include her time and talent, a pre-session phone or email consult, use of all her props, a session prep guide, and hand editing of your digital files.
All you need to bring is baby!.
If baby has already arrived, please contact me as I do my best to work you in! Once your deposit is received your session is secure.

They include your full resolution digital files but do not include any products or prints.

Maternity sessions include around 20 digital files with print release and around 1 hour of shooting time.
I have a few go-to locations, but am always open to coming to a new spot if you have one in mind.
These are best taken around 32-36 weeks along.
Available for any age!
The most common ages clients visit are 6 month/sitter and 1 year, and then many return yearly after that.
Sessions include around 1 hour of shooting time, multiple outfit changes, and 15-20 digital files.
Includes 1 hour of shooting time and approximately 20-25 digital files with print release.

Once your deposit is received I will pencil down your due date.
We won't finalize the actual date/time for the session until after I hear of baby's birth.

With that said, if baby is a month old, or any age for that matter, no worries, just contact me!
We can chat about your specific situation and see what would be best for your baby.
